Easee Charge Lite 11 kw wallbox installation

When installing a Wallbox Pulsar 11 kW EV charger, you actually have 2 choices;
1) You can install the Easee Charge Lite 11 kw ev charger yourself
2) Let a charging station-installer install it
In general, we always recommend having the charging station installed by a recognised charging station installer. After all, you don't want to compromise on safety and knowledge. People often underestimate how much is involved and mistakes can have major consequences. A recognised installer has completed the necessary installation courses, often including those provided by the brand itself.
If you decide to install the charging station at home yourself, we would like to give you a few tips.
First, always use an earth leakage circuit breaker with B characteristics, which is always lower than your main connection. Secondly, you will need a power cable for this 11 kw charging station. In this case, that is a 5x2,5mm2 YMVK cable for inside / in conduit or a 4x2,5mm2 YMVK-as ground cable for outside. If you want to activate dynamic load balancing, you will need the Easee Charge Lite with it. Because it only connects via Wifi, you don't need a data cable.
Have you also checked whether you still have enough space in your fuse box? The earth leakage circuit breaker takes up 4 modules, as does the Easee Charge Lite, so an expansion box is often required.
