Mercedes-Benz EQB EV charger: overview per version
The Mercedes-Benz EQB comes in several versions, from the economical EQB 250+ to the all-wheel-drive 4MATIC models. They share one thing: every one of them charges at home at 11 kW through a Type 2 socket. The difference is in battery size and range, not in charging speed. So the same EV charger advice applies to every Mercedes-Benz EQB. Wallbox Discounter has a separate page per version. You can also browse all Mercedes EV chargers in our overview.
For the Mercedes-Benz EQB we recommend a charger from our 11 kW EV chargers.

Which EV charger suits the Mercedes-Benz EQB?
Every EQB version charges at up to 11 kW of alternating current at home. An 11 kW charger therefore gets everything out of the car. Three-phase means the charger spreads its power over the three phases of your home connection. The EQB uses all three. A 22 kW charger adds no speed here, because the car's on-board charger sets the ceiling.
Whichever model you pick, look for a built-in MID meter. That is a kWh meter certified to the EU Measuring Instruments Directive, built into the charger itself. Because it measures at the charging point, it records your charging separately from the rest of your household. You then know exactly what a home charge costs you. Our EV chargers with MID meter are available at 11 kW as well as 22 kW.
What remains is a choice of build and brand, and you can weigh those among our 11 kW EV chargers.
We arrange installation in the Netherlands, Flemish Belgium and Germany. For Germany, that starts with a free quotation. Outside those three countries we ship worldwide, but we do not install. We always recommend having the connection made by a certified electrician, which is safer and matters for your insurance.
How long does the Mercedes-Benz EQB take to charge?
At 11 kW you charge the EQB fully overnight. For the 66.5 kWh battery, count on about six hours from empty to full. The larger 70.5 kWh battery of the EQB 250+ takes a little longer. Plug the car in during the evening and it is ready in the morning. On the road, fast charging with direct current runs up to about 100 kW, which helps on a long trip.
