Fisker EV charger: which model suits your car?
If you drive a Fisker, it is very likely to be an Ocean. It is the only model Fisker produced in significant numbers in recent years. Every Ocean version charges at home at up to 11 kW of alternating current (AC). With a three-phase connection, an 11 kW EV charger therefore makes full use of the car's charging capacity. Good to know: Fisker filed for bankruptcy in 2024, so the Ocean is no longer sold new. If you drive a used Ocean, you still need a reliable home EV charger, and we are happy to help you choose one.

Which EV charger suits a Fisker?
The Fisker Ocean charges at home at up to 11 kW. This applies to the Sport with the smaller battery as well as the Ultra, Extreme and One with the larger battery pack. An 11 kW EV charger makes full use of that charging capacity, provided you have a three-phase connection at home.
On a single-phase connection, the Ocean can still charge at up to 7.4 kW if the connection can supply 32 A. On a 16 A single-phase connection, charging power is around 3.7 kW. Even at 3.7 kW, an overnight charge can be enough to cover typical daily driving.
A charger with a built-in MID meter is also worth considering. A MID meter is a certified kWh meter that records exactly how much electricity is used for charging. This keeps your car's charging consumption separate from the rest of your household use. Not every charger has one, so if this feature is important to you, compare our EV chargers with a MID meter.

What charging power does the Fisker Ocean have at home?
Every version of the Fisker Ocean has an 11 kW onboard charger for AC charging. With an 11 kW EV charger and a three-phase connection, you can use that capacity in full. The Sport's smaller battery can be recharged overnight, while the larger battery in the Ultra, Extreme and One takes longer. On a single-phase 32 A connection, the car can charge at up to 7.4 kW.
Does my Fisker EV charger need a MID meter?
A MID meter is not required in every situation, but it can be useful. It is a certified kWh meter inside the charger that records exactly how much electricity is used for charging at home, separately from the rest of your household consumption. Not every charger includes one, so check specifically for this feature if accurate charging measurement is important to you.
