Versions of the Cupra Born
The four versions differ mainly in battery size. Three of them charge at 11 kW at home, which means three phases working at the same time. Only the oldest 55 kWh version charges on a single phase. The version name states the gross capacity; the table gives the capacity you can actually use.

Which EV charger fits the Cupra Born?
Three of the four versions charge at 11 kW at home. That means three phases of 16 A drawing power at the same time, not three separate circuits. An 11 kW charger is the logical choice here, because even the largest battery fills overnight. Do you drive the 55 kWh version? That car charges on one phase, at up to 7.2 kW. A single-phase 7.4 kW EV charger already gives it full speed. A heavier charger does no harm, but your car never draws more than it can handle.
On an 11 kW charger, look for a built-in MID meter: a kWh meter that is certified for billing. It records exactly how much power your car takes at home, separately from the rest of your household. That turns your charging costs into a number you can actually see. Our 7.4 kW range does not carry a built-in MID meter, so if you want certified metering, our EV chargers with a MID meter start at 11 kW.
Two more functions are worth weighing at 11 kW. A charger with an app lets you start the session at the cheapest hour without walking out to the car. If you have solar panels, a solar charger fills the Born with the power you would otherwise feed back to the grid.
