Which EV charger suits the Maxus eDeliver 3?

The eDeliver 3 charges at home at up to 7.4 kW on one phase. A 7.4 kW charger therefore uses exactly what the van can take: more power gives no faster charge, because the vehicle sets the limit. If you have a three phase connection at home or at the depot, an 11 kW unit will also work, but the van keeps charging on one phase and never draws more than 7.4 kW.

Choose a charger with a MID meter, a certified kWh meter. You need those certified readings whenever you have to prove your charging to someone else, an employer, a lease company, a landlord or an owners' association, because without them each of those settlements is only an estimate. In the Netherlands there is an extra reason: from 2026 private drivers can earn back up to 500 euros a year through their energy supplier, but only with a certified meter, and that scheme applies in the Netherlands only. Mind your connection and load balancing

Because the eDeliver 3 charges on one phase, a 7.4 kW charger draws 32 amps on that single phase. If other heavy loads run at the same time, such as a heat pump or machinery, a charger with dynamic load balancing is a wise choice: it adjusts the charging power automatically so your main fuse never trips. The van uses the standard Type 2 (Mennekes) connector, so a fixed-cable charger is ready to go and a socket model takes a matching Type 2 cable rated for at least 7.4 kW.
