Jeep sells electrified cars in two forms: plug-in hybrid and fully electric. The Renegade and Compass 4xe are the plug-in hybrids, the Avenger runs on battery alone. Three-phase means the charger uses all three power wires in your fuse box, single-phase uses one. The Avenger takes 11 kW on three phases at home, while the plug-in hybrids stop at 7.4 kW on one. Which EV charger fits a Jeep?
For the Jeep Avenger Electric an 11 kW unit is the logical choice. The car charges on three phases and reaches its full power at home. Our 11 kW EV chargers cover that power class.
The Renegade and Compass 4xe are plug-in hybrids with a small battery. They take 7.4 kW on one phase at most. A three-phase 11 kW unit supplies 16 A per phase, so a single-phase car falls back to 3.7 kW. That halves the speed rather than adding to it. For those two, our 7.4 kW EV chargers are the right match.
A MID meter is a calibrated kWh meter built into the charger. It records your car charging separately from the rest of your household use, so you know what it costs. Our EV chargers with a MID meter start at 11 kW three-phase. That puts them within reach for the Avenger. For a 4xe it means giving up speed, so weigh the meter against the slower charge.
We arrange installation in the Netherlands, Flemish Belgium and Germany. We do not install anywhere else. In Germany it runs through a free quotation rather than a booked installation, as our installation page explains. We ship almost our entire range worldwide, but installation stays within those three countries.

That depends on the model. The fully electric Jeep Avenger charges at 11 kW through a three-phase connection. The Renegade and Compass 4xe plug-in hybrids take up to 7.4 kW on one phase. A charger can never deliver more than the car accepts. Match your choice to the model you actually drive.
Does my Jeep have a type 2 connector?
Yes. The Avenger Electric, the Compass Electric and both 4xe plug-in hybrids use a type 2 inlet at home. Type 2 is the standard our chargers are built around. You therefore do not need an adapter or a special version.
