Charging times for the MAN eTGE
The sum is straightforward: 35.8 kWh of usable battery divided by 7.2 kW comes to just under five hours. Charging is never quite that efficient, so count on about 5.5 hours for a full charge. Plug the van in during the evening and it is ready before the first job of the day.
The eTGE has a type 2 port, like most modern EV chargers. You only need a matching type 2 charging cable when you charge the van at a public charge point.
