Land Rover EV charger: which model suits your car?
Almost every electrified Land Rover and Range Rover is a plug-in hybrid. Think of the Range Rover Evoque, the Defender 110 and the Discovery Sport. They charge at home on one phase, at 7 kW, through a Type 2 port. None of them charges three-phase. Wallbox Discounter has a separate page for every model, with advice for that specific car. Pick your model below and see which home charger fits your driveway.

Which EV charger suits a Land Rover?
Nearly the whole Land Rover and Range Rover line-up consists of plug-in hybrids with a small battery. They charge single-phase at 7 kW, and that is their ceiling. A bigger charger does not lift it. An 11 kW unit is three-phase and delivers 3 x 16 A. A single-phase car uses only one of those phases, so it draws 16 A, roughly 3.7 kW. That would make these models charge slower, not faster. A single-phase charger of 7.4 kW gives you the full speed the car can take.
For these Land Rover and Range Rover plug-in hybrids we recommend a charger from our 7.4 kW range.
One thing to be honest about: metering. A MID meter is a certified kWh meter that records what your car charges, separate from your household use. So you always know what home charging costs you. At 7.4 kW our range has no model with such a meter; certified metering starts at 11 kW. If you want that reading anyway, know the trade-off: a three-phase charger will charge your plug-in hybrid at 3.7 kW. Compare our chargers with a MID meter before you decide.
Planning a fully electric car later? Then an 11 kW EV charger is the future-proof option. Be aware it charges today's plug-in hybrids at only 3.7 kW, so you trade speed now for speed later.
We always advise having the charger connected by a certified electrician. That is safer and it matters for your insurance. We arrange installation in the Netherlands, Flanders (Belgium) and Germany. In the Netherlands and Flanders you can order it with your charger; in Germany it runs through a free quote. We ship worldwide, but installation is limited to those three countries.

Frequently asked questions about Land Rover and Range Rover chargers
What charging power do most Land Rover models have?
The plug-in hybrids from Land Rover and Range Rover charge single-phase at 7 kW through a Type 2 port. Land Rover quotes about 2 hours 12 minutes on a 7 kW home charger. That takes the Evoque P300e to 100%. Battery size does differ per model. The home charging power does not: all of them take 7 kW.
Do I need a 22 kW EV charger for my Range Rover?
No. These cars never charge faster than their onboard charger allows, whatever you hang on the wall. A 7.4 kW single-phase unit is the best home charger for a Range Rover plug-in hybrid. It costs less than a 22 kW unit and charges this car in exactly the same time.
