How long does the Ford Mustang Mach-E Extended Range take to charge?

The Extended Range has a usable battery of about 91 kWh. Divide that by 11 kW and you get roughly 8.3 hours. Add charging losses and a full charge takes just over 9 hours in practice. From 20 to 80 percent you charge in about 5 hours. So a night of home charging is more than enough.

Only have a single-phase connection at home? Then the car charges more slowly. For the full 11 kW you need a three-phase connection, so we strongly recommend one for this car.

The Mach-E has a Type 2 connection, like most modern chargers. You only need a matching Type 2 charging cable to charge elsewhere, since at home you charge through the charger's fixed cable.
