Lynk & Co EV charger: which model suits your car?
Driving a Lynk & Co and want to charge at home? The right EV charger mainly depends on your model. The Lynk & Co 01 is a plug-in hybrid that charges on a single phase at up to 3.7 kW. The fully electric Lynk & Co 02 charges at up to 11 kW as standard, while the More trim supports up to 22 kW. Which EV charger suits a Lynk & Co?
The Lynk & Co 01 charges on a single phase at a maximum of 3.7 kW. A more powerful EV charger will therefore not charge the vehicle any faster, because the onboard charger in the car sets the limit. We still recommend considering an 11 kW EV charger if you want features such as a built-in MID meter or want to prepare your installation for a future electric car. A three-phase connection is required to use an 11 kW EV charger at full power.
The Lynk & Co 02 is different. The standard version can use the full 11 kW of a three-phase EV charger, making an 11 kW model an ideal match. The More trim has a 22 kW onboard charger. In that case, one of our 22 kW EV chargers can make use of the higher charging capacity, provided your electrical installation supports it.
Whichever model you drive, a charger with a built-in MID meter can be useful. A MID meter is a certified kWh meter that accurately records how much electricity is used for charging. This keeps the vehicle's charging consumption separate from the rest of your household electricity use. Our EV chargers with a MID meter start at 11 kW.

What charging power does the Lynk & Co 01 have?
The Lynk & Co 01 charges at home at a maximum of 3.7 kW AC on a single phase. A charger with a higher power rating will not charge the car any faster, because the vehicle's onboard charger determines the maximum charging speed. The Lynk & Co 01 uses a Type 2 connection.
Do I need a special EV charger for a Lynk & Co?
No. A suitable EV charger with a Type 2 connection or Type 2 cable is sufficient. The main factor is the maximum charging power supported by your specific Lynk & Co model. We recommend having the charger installed by a qualified electrician and checking the local installation requirements in your country. A built-in MID meter can also be useful if you want to measure your home charging consumption separately from the rest of your household electricity use.
