The NexBlue Edge Max is a smart EV charger with a Type 2 socket and a maximum charging capacity of 22 kW. The wallbox can be connected to both single-phase and three-phase power. Thanks to its integrated MID meter, OLED display and extensive connectivity options, the Edge Max is suitable for home use, business drivers and smaller commercial charging locations.
The integrated MID-certified energy meter measures electricity consumption with an accuracy of ±1%. Current charging and consumption data can be viewed directly on the OLED display. This makes the wallbox suitable for recording and reimbursing electricity costs for company or leased vehicles charged at home.
Dynamic load balancing, charging with surplus solar energy and automatic phase switching are optionally available via NexBlue Zen. The NexBlue Edge Max also supports ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-20 and is prepared for Plug & Charge and AC bidirectional charging. The actual availability of V2G and other bidirectional functions depends on a compatible vehicle, supported software, certification and local regulations.
