Lucid EV charger: which model fits your car?

A Lucid charges remarkably fast at home. Most electric cars have an 11 kW onboard charger. The Lucid Air accepts up to 22 kW of alternating current (AC) over a three-phase connection, via its Type 2 port. With a suitable three-phase connection and charger, your battery is full much sooner. At Wallbox Discounter you will find a separate page per Lucid version with specific charging advice.

Charging specifications per Lucid model

Which charger fits a Lucid?

The Lucid Air can charge at up to 22 kW AC. You get the most from a three-phase charger that delivers that power. With a three-phase connection and enough room in your meter box, a 22 kW charger is ideal. It fills your Lucid noticeably faster than an 11 kW model. Unsure about your connection? An 11 kW charger is a safe and more than sufficient choice for daily use.

Where you can, prefer a charger with a built-in MID meter. A MID meter is a certified kWh meter that records exactly how much you charge at home. That is handy for accurate billing. Browse all our 22 kW EV chargers to use your Lucid's full power. Or pick the 11 kW EV chargers for a calmer pace. We always recommend having the connection done by a qualified electrician, which is safer and important for your insurance. Wallbox Discounter arranges installation in the Netherlands, Flemish Belgium and Germany; in Germany via a free quotation.

Frequently asked questions about Lucid chargers

What charging power does a Lucid Air have at home?

The Lucid Air has an onboard AC charger that handles up to 22 kW over a three-phase connection. That is well above the 11 kW of most electric cars. Does your meter box have a three-phase connection that can handle it? Then a 22 kW charger fills your Lucid much faster than a standard 11 kW option.

Which plug does a Lucid use?

All Lucid models charge with a Type 2 plug, the European standard for AC charging. You can connect a Lucid to almost any charger in our range. For public charging on the road, you need a matching Type 2 charging cable.
