The Model 3 Standard accepts 11 kW at home. An 11 kW charger on a three-phase connection is therefore the logical choice. A 22 kW model does not charge this car any faster. How long does the Tesla Model 3 Standard take to charge?

On an 11 kW charger you fill the Model 3 Standard from empty to full in about 6.5 hours. Plug it in at 23:00 and it is fully charged by morning. For everyday use, one night of charging is more than enough. The Model 3 Standard uses a Type 2 connection, like most modern chargers. You only need a separate Type 2 charging cable for a public charging point.
