XPENG EV charger: which model fits your car?

The XPENG G9, P7 and P5 all charge at home at up to 11 kW alternating current (AC), whatever the version. To use that full power, you need a three-phase connection and an 11 kW EV charger. Three-phase means your home has three live power lines instead of one. Wallbox Discounter has a separate page for each of these versions. There you will find concrete charger advice and the charging times for your car.

Which EV charger fits an XPENG?

These XPENG models charge at up to 11 kW. With a three-phase connection, an 11 kW EV charger is therefore the best choice.

Only have a single-phase connection at home? Then a single-phase charger is enough, for example one of our 7.4 kW EV chargers. On a 16 A supply you charge at 3.7 kW. Some G9 and P7 versions take up to 7.4 kW on a 32 A supply. The model page gives the exact figure for your version.

Not sure what your connection can handle? Then choose one of our EV chargers with dynamic load balancing. Load balancing means the charger adjusts its charging power to what your electrical connection can handle.

Ideally, choose a charger with a built-in MID meter. That is a certified kWh meter that records exactly how much electricity goes into your car. You then see what charging at home costs you, separate from the rest of your household use. That makes a MID meter a smart choice in our view. At 11 kW the choice of chargers with a built-in MID meter is smaller. Compare our EV chargers with a MID meter or browse all 11 kW EV chargers in our range.

All XPENG models charge through a Type 2 connection, like almost every modern EV charger. We always recommend having the connection made by a qualified installer. That is safer and it matters for your insurance. Wallbox Discounter arranges installation in the Netherlands, Flemish Belgium and Germany.
