Zeekr X EV charger: which one fits best?

The Zeekr X charges at up to 22 kW at home on alternating current (AC). Few electric cars manage that. Most stop at 11 kW, but this compact SUV doubles it. With a 22 kW charger you fully charge the Zeekr X in about three hours instead of six. This page shows you which charger suits your Zeekr X and what the charging times are.

For the Zeekr X we recommend a charger from our 22 kW EV chargers.

Which EV charger suits the Zeekr X?

The Zeekr X takes 22 kW. On a three-phase connection, a 22 kW charger gets the most out of the car. Do you have a single-phase connection? Then the car charges at 7.4 kW, and a charger from our 7.4 kW EV chargers matches that connection. Are you planning a three-phase connection later on? Then a 22 kW charger is the future-proof choice, because this car actually uses that power.

Look for a built-in MID meter as well. A MID meter is a certified kWh meter that records exactly how much electricity goes into your car. That keeps your charging separate from the rest of your household use, so you always know what charging at home actually costs. Worth knowing: in our range the MID meter starts at 11 kW. A 7.4 kW charger does not offer one. You will find the models that do among our charging stations with MID meter. Browse all 22 kW EV chargers, or the cheaper 11 kW EV chargers if you charge overnight anyway.

How long does the Zeekr X take to charge?

The Zeekr X has a usable battery of 65 kWh. On an 11 kW charger a full charge takes about six hours, that is 65 divided by 11. On a 22 kW charger this halves to roughly three hours. The Zeekr X really accepts those 22 kW. A 22 kW charger therefore makes a clear difference to the charging time. In practice you usually charge from around 20 to 80 percent, which is considerably quicker.

Frequently asked questions about the Zeekr X EV charger

Can I really charge the Zeekr X at 22 kW at home?

Yes. The Zeekr X has a 22 kW onboard charger. Most EVs stop at 11 kW. You do need a three-phase connection in your fuse box and a 22 kW charger. Without those, the car simply charges at a lower power.

Why does a MID meter matter for the Zeekr X?

A MID meter is a certified kWh meter that records your charging consumption accurately. It shows you exactly what you charge at home, separately from your other electricity use. The Zeekr X charges fast and draws a lot of power in a short time, which makes that reading worth having.

Should I have the charger installed?

We strongly recommend it. A qualified electrician makes sure the connection is safe, and that matters for your insurance. Would you like your charger including installation? Wallbox Discounter arranges that in the Netherlands, Flemish Belgium and Germany. You can find the conditions per country on our installation page.
