How long does the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid take to charge?
Of the 9.4 kWh battery, about 7.5 kWh is usable. Porsche quotes a full charge in about 2.5 hours at 16 A (amps). A stronger charger does not make this faster, because the car limits itself to about 3.6 kW. Plug in in the evening and the battery is full long before morning.
The Panamera S E-Hybrid has a Type 2 connection. At home you charge with the fixed cable of your charger. A separate Type 2 charging cable is only needed on the road, or with a charger that has a socket.

Does the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid need a three-phase charger?
No. This Panamera charges on one phase at about 3.6 kW, so a single-phase connection is enough. A three-phase charger also works fine. It is handy if you later buy an EV that charges faster on AC.
