Jaguar EV charger: which model suits your car?
Most electric and hybrid Jaguars charge at home between 7 and 11 kW. The right charger depends on your exact model and build year. At Wallbox Discounter you get a separate page for each Jaguar model. There you find the charging power, the charging times and clear home charging advice.
Charging specifications per Jaguar model
The fully electric I-Pace is the best known Jaguar EV. Early versions charge at 7 kW on one phase, models from 2021 at 11 kW on three phases. Three-phase means the charger draws power across three supply lines at once. The F-Pace and E-Pace are plug-in hybrids and charge at a lower power. Every Jaguar uses a Type 2 connection.
| Model | Max. AC charging power | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Jaguar I-Pace | 7 to 11 kW | Jaguar I-Pace |
| Jaguar I-Pace EV320 | 7 to 11 kW | Jaguar I-Pace EV320 |
| Jaguar I-Pace EV400 | 11 kW | Jaguar I-Pace EV400 |
| Jaguar I-Pace EV400 ('18 - '20) | 7 kW | Jaguar I-Pace EV400 ('18 - '20) |
| Jaguar F-Pace / E-Pace (plug-in hybrid) | 7.4 kW | Jaguar F-Pace / E-Pace |
Which charger suits a Jaguar?
For a fully electric I-Pace, an 11 kW charger is the smart choice. Models from 2021 use that power fully through a three-phase connection, while older I-Pace versions charge up to 7 kW. An 11 kW charger is therefore future-proof. It charges your current Jaguar quickly and already suits a next EV with higher charging power. A plug-in hybrid F-Pace or E-Pace needs less, but an 11 kW charger works well here too.
Ideally, choose a charger with a built-in MID meter, a certified kWh meter that records your charging use precisely. From 2026 in the Netherlands only, private drivers can reclaim up to 500 euro per year on their home charging costs. You get this through your energy supplier, but only with such a meter. Buying a charger without a MID meter means leaving that money on the table. A MID meter is no longer a luxury, it is simply smart.
