Charging specifications per Toyota model

Every electric and hybrid Toyota uses the Type 2 connector, the European standard. Your real charging power at home depends on three factors: the maximum charging power of your car, the connection in your meter cupboard and the power of your charger. The lowest of the three sets the speed.

In the Netherlands there is an extra reason: from 2026 private drivers can earn back up to 500 euros a year through their energy supplier, but only with a certified meter, and that scheme applies in the Netherlands only.
