Peugeot EV charger: which model suits your car?
An electric Peugeot charges at home on 7.4 kW or 11 kW alternating current (AC). The exact speed depends on your model and your home connection. The e-3008 and e-5008 reach 11 kW as standard. The entry models e-208 and e-2008 charge at 7.4 kW. At Wallbox Discounter you find a dedicated page for every Peugeot, with charging advice tailored to your car.

Which EV charger suits a Peugeot?
The newer electric Peugeots, such as the e-3008 and e-5008, charge at home on 11 kW. They use a three-phase connection (400 volt). The e-208 and e-2008 charge at 7.4 kW as standard, with 11 kW as an option. Plug-in hybrids like the 3008 Hybrid have a smaller battery and charge on 3.7 to 7.4 kW. A charger faster than your car accepts adds nothing, so match the power to your model.
Where possible, pick a charger with a built-in MID meter. That is a MID-certified kWh meter, which records your charging use accurately. From 2026 in the Netherlands only, private drivers can reclaim up to 500 euro per year through their energy supplier. This works only with such a calibrated meter. Buy a charger without one and you leave that benefit behind. A MID meter is therefore a smart choice, not a luxury.
For most Peugeot drivers a three-phase model is the logical choice. Browse all 11 kW EV chargers or the faster 22 kW EV chargers in our range. You can also compare models with a MID meter directly. We arrange professional installation throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. We ship worldwide, but installation covers those three countries only.

Frequently asked questions about Peugeot EV chargers
What charging power do most Peugeot cars have?
The e-3008 and e-5008 charge at home on 11 kW through a three-phase connection. The e-208 and e-2008 charge at 7.4 kW as standard, with 11 kW as an option. The plug-in hybrids charge on 3.7 to 7.4 kW. Fast charging on the road runs through a CCS connection, separate from your home charger.
Does my Peugeot need a Type 2 EV charger?
Yes, all current electric and hybrid Peugeot models charge at home through a Type 2 connection, the European standard. Almost every charger in our range supports it. To charge your car elsewhere too, you need a separate Type 2 charging cable. At home you simply charge through the fixed cable of your charger.
