Audi e-tron 50 quattro EV charger: which one fits best?
The Audi e-tron 50 quattro was built from 2019 to 2022. At home it charges on alternating current (AC) at up to 11 kW. A three-phase 11 kW EV charger delivers exactly that power. For this e-tron, an 11 kW model is almost always the right pick. Driving a different Audi? Our Audi EV charger overview covers every model and version.
For the Audi e-tron 50 quattro we recommend a charger from our 11 kW EV chargers.

Which EV charger suits the Audi e-tron 50 quattro?
With 11 kW on board, the e-tron 50 quattro charges fastest at home on a three-phase 11 kW charger. A useful extra is a built-in MID meter. That is a certified kWh meter. It records exactly how much electricity goes into the car, separately from your household use. So you always know what charging costs you.
Be aware that at 11 kW the choice of chargers with a built-in MID meter is small. Most chargers with a built-in MID meter in our range are 22 kW models. Such a charger simply charges the standard e-tron at its own 11 kW. You will find all options among our EV chargers with MID meter.

How long does the Audi e-tron 50 quattro take to charge?
The quick sum: 64.7 kWh of usable battery at 11 kW comes to just under 6 hours. Some energy is lost while charging, though. So count on about 7 hours from empty to full on an 11 kW charger. Plug in the car in the evening and it is full in the morning.
Audi offered a second on-board charger for 22 kW as an option on later cars. With that option, a 22 kW EV charger cuts the time to about 3.5 hours. Your home does need a three-phase 32 A connection for that. The standard version charges at 11 kW, which makes an 11 kW EV charger the logical choice.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Audi e-tron 50 quattro need an EV charger with a MID meter?
You do not need one to charge, but it is a smart choice. A MID meter in your charger records your charging consumption in a certified way. That gives you a reliable figure for the electricity your car uses at home, apart from your household consumption. At 11 kW the choice with a built-in MID meter is very limited. So also look at the 22 kW models with a MID meter.
Can I charge the Audi e-tron 50 quattro at 22 kW?
Only if your car was ordered with the optional 22 kW on-board charger. The standard version charges at 11 kW AC. It never gets more than that, not even on a 22 kW charger. Check the equipment list of your own car before you choose a 22 kW charger. We always recommend having the connection made by a qualified electrician. That is safer and it matters for your insurance.
