Which EV charger fits the NIO EL6 75 kWh?
The NIO EL6 75 kWh charges at home with up to 11 kW over a three-phase connection. An 11 kW EV charger is the logical match. You get the full speed the car allows and pay nothing for power the NIO cannot use. A 22 kW charger will not charge this car any faster.

From 2026 a certified meter lets private drivers earn back up to 500 euro a year through their energy supplier. That scheme applies from 2026 in the Netherlands only. Charge the car overnight and it is full by morning. If several appliances run at the same time, a charger with dynamic load balancing keeps your connection from overloading. It adjusts the power automatically. For everyday overnight charging, our home EV chargers are the simplest starting point.

How long does the NIO EL6 75 kWh take to charge?
Divide the usable battery of around 70 kWh by the charging power to work out the time. With an 11 kW charger, empty to full takes about 6.5 hours. Plug in overnight and the car is ready in the morning. On a single-phase connection at home you fall back to 3.7 kW, which stretches a full charge to about 19 hours. A three-phase connection from your grid operator is then well worth it.

Does the NIO EL6 75 kWh charge faster than the 100 kWh?
Both charge at 11 kW AC at home, so the speed per hour is the same. The 75 kWh has a smaller battery, so it is full sooner than the 100 kWh. It also takes you less far on a full charge.
